One Day Campaigns
Just For One Day
This is a series of one day campaigns for a Free Tibet!
Should sport and politics mix? There is no question when you think about it. It isn't a question. Human rights are not separated by sport or politics... A series of one day campaigns to hopefully, encourage sponsors of the 2008 Olympics to think about Tibet and injustice.
If you want to sponsor the Olympics guys - let Team Tibet take part! Come on COKE, and the other sponsors, you can make a difference.

Ongoing List of Olympic 2008 Sponsors.
Coca-Cola (in harmony??)
Snickers (you must be nuts!!)
Johnson and Johnson (care about babies??)
Mc Donalds
(not lovin' it!)
Adidas (that's not sport Adidas!!)
Budweiser (not my bud)

URGENT CAMPAIGNS

YOU can help make a difference for a free Tibet by taking part in our Urgent Campaign Scheme. The Urgent Campaign Scheme is a system by which supporters are contacted about cases as they happen in Tibet, and how to act swiftly to speak up about the detention of political prisoners, the decisions of political figures and new policies which damage the Tibetan people and culture.
We will let you know what is happening, who to write to and what to say to urge for action on issues which effect Tibet.

The Games of shame Tthe Games of Shame are scheduled to begin in Beijing, the Chinese government tragically proved that Free Tibet Campaign was right in 2001 when we said a country with China's appalling human rights record should never have been awarded the 2008 Olympic Games. The current brutal crackdown of peaceful protests by Tibetans and the media blackout imposed by China have shown the world the true face of this repressive regime. In 2001 the International Olympics Committee (IOC) said it was "taking a bet" that human rights in Tibet and China would improve as a result of Beijing hosting the Olympics. They lost their bet.
